About us, overview
The Stichting Habets Genealogieën
(Habets Genealogies Foundation) is being formed by a number of
enthusiastic people that dedicate oneself to the history writing
and the common family ties of the Habets family.
 Purpose
of the foundation
The purpose of the foundation is recording the genealogical data
of the Habets family and their close relatives, including dissemination
of the results to the people concerned.
To reach this objective, we perform mainly the following activities:
registration, update and exchange of genealogical data; perform
and/or motivate research; report results and enhance the common
family ties.
Contributors
and sponsors
The activities of the foundation are being financed by donations
and sponsoring.
Contributors are those who feel sympathetic to
the activities of the foundation and, therefore, spent a financial
contribution. Members of the Habets family and their close relations
form the main group. Being a contributor offers a number of advantages.

History
of the foundation
The history of the foundation started before 1992. A number of
independent researchers found each other and started a working
group. After they organised a family reunion, they formally founded
